At one time the main entrance in the "Serenissima" was a waterway, crossing the Grand Canal and St Mark's Basin. That enchanting atmosphere can be lived again today by those who, arriving from land, reach the Lido by car.
BY CAR: Exiting the motorway at the toll booth, follow the signs to Venice Centre, then at the first traffic light turn right for embarkation onto the ferry. Board the Line 17 ACTV ferry that transports vehicles between Tronchetto and the Lido through the enchanting St Mark's Basin. The cost of the ticket depends on vehicle type - the trip takes about 35 minutes.
BY AIR: Marco Polo International Airport is connected to Venice and the Lido by a public water bus service and by a private taxi service. The AliLaguna public service is the line that connects the Lido, the old town and the airport, passing through the North Lagoon. Tickets may be bought directly on board, and cost about EUR 10. Getting off at the Lido stop (P. le Santa Maria Elisabetta), you can reach our hotel by taxi. The private service operates using the hotel motorboat (airport - Villa Mabapa landing stage). For information and reservations contact the hotel reception.
BY TRAIN: Arriving at Venezia S. Lucia railway station, it is possible to use either the public ACTV service or a private taxi service. The ACTV lines 1, 51, 52, 82, N (night) connect the station with the Lido. The embarkation point is in front of the entrance to the station with departures every 10-12 minutes. Tickets cost EUR 3.5 and may be bought from the ticket office or, on payment of a supplement, on board. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Getting off at the Venezia Lido stop (P. le Santa Maria Elisabetta), you can reach our hotel by taxi. The private service operates using the hotel motorboat (airport - Villa Mabapa landing stage).
